Overview
In today’s world, cyber-attacks are commonplace, driving the need for businesses to be both cyber secure and cyber resilient. Only 24% of current generative AI projects are being secured and hackers are targeting collecting data to resell. By leveraging IBM’s suite of cyber security and cyber resilient offerings, businesses can build a complete strategy to protect data and secure AI.
We have launched the “Data & AI CyberPractice which combines capabilities from Security and Data & AI and offers our partners a clear competitive advantage with their customers.
The program has been created for 3 main reasons:
- The increase of Cyber Crime is impacting the market and requires a wholistic and integrated approach to combat it.
- The EU has acknowledged the scale of the threat and have published regulations such as:
- DORA or NIS2, which outline the Operational Resilience objectives that Businesses need to meet and the penalties (up to 2% of turnover) incurred for non-compliance
- EU AI Act which ensures that AI systems respect fundamental rights, safety, and ethical principles and addresses risks of AI models.
- To ensure that IBM partners understand how to combine industry-leading Security and Data&AI products in order to better address customer requirements.
We are excited to announce as part of this CyberPractice the first Data & AI Cyber Academy running in November 2024. We hope you can join us to grow your Security and Data & AI skills.
